Traveling uncovered and exposed me to multiple diverse cultures, ancient traditions and beautiful history. Through these encounters, I learned to embrace and celebrate both our resemblances and differences. Escaping into the world taught me about the importance of Ubuntu (Humanity to others), We are what we are because of who we all are. This in return gave me an appreciation, understanding, empathy, respect to different point of views and ways of life. At first, the idea was introduced to people in my circle, but it was no longer a dream for a few and so I wanted to expand it to the diverse society as a whole. The more people explore the world, the more it is easy to realize and understand how the world really works. As the saying goes, “travel broadens the narrow mind “and “travel leaves one richer”. Through travel, great friends from around the globe are made and people profit from experiencing things from different perspectives and different viewpoints.
